Rhythm Of Life Thoughts For Today 

Is stress a choice or a given in our lives?  Can we really expect to live a life of no stress in this 21st century?  It is not so much the actual circumstances in our lives that cause us stress as much as it is the thoughts, energy and emotion that we give to these circumstances.  We often hear of the term "managing stress" in magazines and media.  The most effective means of managing stress is truly turning over our lives to our Source, God, for direction and leading.  The Holy Spirit is the great stress reliever.   Christ within us is willing to take over the management of our lives and lead us safely forward, we must only be still for a moment and surrender our mind, will and emotions to the Living God. - The Fouty's

What do we stand for?  What are our convictions?  What makes us tick?  What draws out our passion for life?  Answering these questions can assist us in uncovering our life's purpose.  Let us spend some time asking ourselves these questions, and listening to hear the answers that come from our spirit and soul. - The Fouty's

We cannot be afraid to look at the situations in our life from different perspectives.  Perhaps our current view is limiting or incomplete.  We must free ourselves from our habitual patterns of perception.  We can allow the mind of Christ to come from the void within our hearts and redirect our thoughts and ideas concerning our life and the lives of those around us.  This will surely set us free!  - The Fouty's

April 03 - 12, 2002

Are you ready for the resurrection?  Are you ready to be reborn into a whole new way of living?  Are you ready to surrender to a greater plan and a Higher Power?  These are the questions we must ask ourselves during this time of Easter.  Now is the time for miracles, today is the day for change. - The Fouty's

We must not lean to our own understanding, but acknowledge that the Creator performs miracles continuously.   The greater plan is at work, the big picture is unfolding.  We must merely do our part with an attitude of faith, trust and joy. - The Fouty's

"For I know the plans I have for you," says our Creator, "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future!" - Jeremiah 29:11

Don't keep God in a box!  Don't back yourself in to a corner.  Stop limiting the Creator by narrow-mindedness and doubt.  Break loose the fetters and let God be God! - The Fouty's

Without vision, where would we be?  Without passion, how would we move forward?  Without faith, how would we cope with obstacles?  Without love, why would we want to live?  It is not the "things" in our life that motivate us, it is not our house, our job or our many "toys".  What motivates us is within us.  It is our internal connection to the Divine and to one another that thrusts us forward in life.  Vision, passion, faith, love; these are the treasures of this life! - The Fouty's

In quietness and peace, God's ways are established within us.  The transformation is taking place behind the scenes, not in the focus of our activities, but just behind our conscious thoughts, our lives are being transformed, transfigured and translated into Light and Love. - The Fouty's

"Prayer changes things."  "A still mind can move mountains. "  "A peaceful heart can alleviate any war."  Pause and think about these truths.  These are not the truths taught by the media, the government or our schools.  These are the truths that, if enough people would make as their own, would change the world overnight!   - The Fouty's

Steadily and surely we are progressing toward a metamorphosis, a transfiguration.  Humanity will no longer be allowed to live in the ignorance of fear, separation and all of the morbid illusions that spring from them.  The time has come for the Christ to return to the earth and this resurrection is happening within each soul living on the earth that is willing to allow the resurrection to take place.  Those that fight against it will ultimately create their own exit from the planet.    But those of us who are surrendering to the will of Christ in our life, will be resurrected into the immortal life that has been promised since Jesus, himself, walked upon this earth.  - The Fouty's

Thankful thoughts and words breathe new life into stale worlds.  They bring fresh air to closed hearts, and release the mind from its habitually-limiting thoughts.  Thankfulness, indeed, is a powerful healer.  It has brought more people out of depression than Prozac ever will.  It has restored more people to their youth than Viagra.  Thankfulness has restored more relationships than all counselors put together.  Why would we then, ignore this miraculous gift that is given to us freely from our Source?  It doesn't cost a thing and no one can take it from you unless you allow them to.  Let us receive the gift and put its power to use in our lives.  Let us be thankful!   - The Fouty's

Miracles are happening every day, all around us.  Let us not hypnotize our minds into believing otherwise.  Our living bodies are a miracle, growing plants are a miracle, sunlight is a miracle.  We are walking among the miraculous.  Llet us then realize that God is in the miracle business and not be afraid to receive our share of miracles.  Then also let us remember that we are made in God's image.  We are miracle workers also.  Let us not be afraid to give our share of miracles out to others also.  It is not by might, not by power, but by the Spirit that we can offer miracles to the earth. - The Fouty's

There is no time like the pre-sent moment to appreciate and be thankful that the Universe works in such a wonderfully mysterious way.  It literally goes out and creates our world from our thoughts and our emotions.  Our thoughts from the past our pre-sent into our present world.  If we want to change our future, we need only change our thoughts and attitudes right now. - The Fouty's

It is time for a fresh wind to blow.  The air has been stale and movement has been limited in our lives.  It is now time for warm winds to lift us and propel us forward into heightened thoughts and experience.  Le us spread our wings and receive the assistance of a fresh, new wave of the Spirit! - The Fouty's

In quietness and thankfulness do we receive the peace of God.  We receive the gifts of the heavens when we will be still and know that God is  in ALL, through ALL and for ALL! - The Fouty's

January 28 - 29, 2002

Daylight is getting longer each day, yet we do not notice it too much yet.  Each day we are getting about 2 more minutes of daylight as we head toward Spring and Summer.  In the same way within us, we may not be realizing that the Light is dawning greater and greater, albeit in small increments each day as we press on.  Soon, it will be springing-forth from within us and we will notice the brightness of the daybreak! - The Fouty's

In the dead of Winter it is often hard to see the growth that is happening behind the scenes.  It is not until the dawning of Spring that we get to witness the strength and maturity that has developed during the Winter.   And so it is with our lives.  Even though, right now, we may not see the growth happening within us, Spring shall surely reveal our increased strength and maturity. - The Fouty's

We give thanks for all those who have lost their lives in pursuit of a greater ideal, a grander vision for how humanity can live.  We honor those who have dared to stand up and face the separated, segregated and fearful masses and say:  "We are one!"   Martin Luther King was such a visionary.  We are thankful for his life, his message and his vision of truth.  May we each stand in our own unique worlds and declare the same:  "We are one!"  It would bring Mr. King, and all of the others who have left us for the spirit realm, great satisfaction to see their vision continue to be magnified upon the earth.  "We are one!" - The Fouty's

With our feet firmly planted on the earth and our hands stretched to the heavens and our heads held high and facing the wind, let us take a deep breath in through our nostrils.  With this inhalation let us take in all that life has to offer us, let us feel our very existence expanding.  A new consciousness is being awakened inside of us as we breathe in.  The let us exhale slowly, but deliberately, through our mouth.  Expelling all of the unfruitful thoughts, lingering doubts and out-dated images of ourselves.  We now  walk as new creations on this earth.  We relinquish our past to the Light, we surrender our future to the Christ; and we open our hearts to be guided by our Source in this present moment. - The Fouty's

January 18 - 20, 2002

With a new year comes the opportunity for new beginnings.  January is often a great time to look at the coming year with a creative eye, to take a fresh outlook on the future and let our minds become open to new perspectives.  "Is there a grander view of what I can be on this earth?"  "Is there a greater role I have been born to fulfill in this life?"  These questions, and many other  similar to them, are very healthy and therapeutic thoughts to have this month.  Let us take some time to "reflect", quieting our minds and stilling our emotions.  Let us ask ourselves some "outside of the box" questions.  We will be surprised at how liberating this can be.  It will open up the Source within us to be able to bring  wonderful growth and positive changes to our lives. - The Fouty's

In this increasingly complex life that we live, we must not overlook the simplicity of true joy, peace and love!  We all have to remember so many different "passwords" just to be able to function on this earth:  bank passwords, computer passwords, debit card PIN's, voice mail... email... internet access... the list goes on and on.  In the midst of all of this complexity, let us remember the "password" to our heart, that password is "stillness".  If we take time, every day, to still our minds and focus on the "heart of the matter", we will lead a much  more productive life.  And that life will be a full of joy, peace and love!  Our Creator offers us many miraculous gifts that we need only access to  receive.  Remember, the password is "stillness". - The Fouty's

Make each day count!  Life is the most precious and valuable gift we are given.  Yet we so often take the gift so lightly, until something threatens it.  Let us be thankful today for life itself!  This life gives us the ability to feel, to touch, to express, to create, to relate, to love!  Wow!  Let us be grateful to our Creator, the Source of ALL life, for giving us such a great gift as to be alive on planet earth! - The Fouty's

Is the glass half full or half empty?  Is the curtain half open or half closed?  Our perceptions are extremely influential over our mental outlook and our emotional health.  Are our lives expanding or contracting?  We are made in the image of our Source, the Creator of the Universe.  Within us is the God-given ability to create and grow.  If we are seeing the glass half empty or the curtain half closed, then maybe it is time we ask the Christ within us to help give us a new perspective.  It would surely bring big, positive changes in our lives! - The Fouty's

Miracles still do happen.  We must re-mind our minds of this daily.  Our thoughts can so easily become calloused and numbed by the lethargic thoughts of the mass media and modern society in general.  Behind the scenes, miracles are happening every day, indeed every moment.  Let us seize the day, open up our minds and our hearts and be receptive to miracles all around us.  They ARE happening! - The Fouty's

The four winds are blowing, stirring up weather systems around the globe.  The four spiritual winds are also blowing, stirring up emotions and energies within the soul.  There is a cleansing going on within us and around us.  At first the tools used to clean stir up a bunch of dust and dirt that have been laying in the corners and dark recesses of our minds and souls.  But soon, the cleansing detergents of love, peace and truth begin to purify us and brighten us up from the inside out.  Blow oh four winds blow! - The Fouty's

May we feel emptied from the past and filled anew with hope, vision and faith that this new year will bring more love, joy and peace upon the earth than ever before.  And why shouldn't it?  WE are the ones who are brining love, joy and peace into manifestation.  WE are the ones magnifying truth and light.  Surely this shall be a great year in which we are beginning! - The Fouty's
