The Fouty's Original Songs

The Fouty's have been writing songs since before they could drive.  Their song catalogue has over 150 tunes that cross all genres, from pop to gospel, country to blues and a few showtunes along the way.

Their song "You Are The Light" was a finalist in the Indiana Music Awards.  Their song "Spirit of Hope" was featured as the theme song in the contemporary Christian musical also entitled "Spirit of Hope".

The Fouty's songs "The Gathering", "You Are My Source" and "Being" are sang in spiritual group meetings across the US.

In 1993, their song "Alice's Prayers" was chosen as the anthem for a not-for-profit benefit to raise money to help children and mothers who are coming out of child abuse situations.

While only about 25 of their songs have been recorded at this time, Fayrene & Steve are currently working on two more albums full of their original songs.  They are also singing some of their new ones at events they are currently involved with.

As Steve explains, "Most of our songs have a positive view to life, even through hard times.  All of our songs are about life, love and relationships.  Life is all about relationships, whether that is with your lover, your child, God, nature, your family, your business associates or the store clerk.   Our songs touch on how the heart moves and grows and feels and hurts and heals as it journeys through this life."
