Unconditional Love

In a place, far away, nobody around

Time to look, deep inside, and find out who I am

As my eyes, wandered far, cross the waves of the sea
So my heart, wondered for, understanding of me
There must be, so much more, to this life that I live

If any being anywhere, can hear my urgent, honest prayer

With a jump, I stood up, and looked out at the sea
Could this voice, that I heard, be a voice of the deep?
Past the waves, farther down, than what man has observed

My emotions were high, I started dancing around

The Faith To Rise Again

Running late again I’m dodging out and in of the rushing traffic headed home
When suddenly I’m stopped, cars are moving at a crawl and red lights are flashing up the road
At first I was upset, how quickly I forget all my steps are ordered by the Lord
A crisis is at hand, God needs someone to stand and intercede for those who are involved

So I pray for this situation, every person it’s affecting may the find your peace inside this storm
When they woke up this morning, they had no clue or warning that what they faced today would change their world
In the moments that will follow, all their fears about tomorrow may they find You closer than a friend
And look to You for strength in their time of need and find in You the faith to rise again

We get so narrow-minded, losing sight of how we’re guided, to the appointed time and place
We’re often heaven sent, to be an instrument, of God’s amazing grace
Heaven help our selfishness; let no other moment pass, with our hearts so out of touch
Let us recognize the call, and reach out to all, with God’s healing love
