Both Fayrene and Steve have become ordained ministers. They are able to perform the marriage ceremony in Indiana (and in other states that honor the state of Indiana's law). They have long been a part of many weddings, as vocalists and instrumentalists. Now, they can also perform the ceremony. "The marriage ceremony is a celebration of the uniting of two individuals spirit, soul and body. Too often the person officiating the ceremony is just going through the actions, their heart is not in it. We desire to be very into the moment of the wedding, allowing the joy of the uniting to be honored. We want the presence of God to be felt, not just talked about!" say the Fouty's. "One of the songs on a new album we are working on is called "Morningstar and Prophet" . The lyrics contain these words: "There's not a more sacred ceremony, than the love between a woman and a man." The truth is that whether there are two people present, or a thousand, the sacredness of the moment should be enjoyed and appreciated. |
